Fashion Lookbook #1

I've decided to do a fashion lookbook series so this is going to be my very first post of it. I hope that my fashion lookbook for today would be able to give you guys some inspiration!

Outfit #1

This is a stylish and comfy look that I would go for whenever I'm going to a mall or cinema. 

Upper wear- I'm wearing my white coloured singlet from uniqlo which I got it during summer in 2012. The quality of this singlet is really good and it comes with padded bra in it. I inherited this baggy acid wash denim jacket from my aunt which has already been around for literally 30 years. Just so you didn't know, you do not have to worry whenever a jacket is too large for you as long as it's not too long. All you need to do is roll up the sleeves but not too much. Baggy jackets can be fashionable for petite girls too! 

Bottom wear- My jeggings for this outfit was only $8 from forever 21 that my mum got it for me on her Europe trip. I have to say that it is super duper comfy to wear in and I totally recommend you to go get one. My boots were from rubi which I handpicked myself in Australia and I'm loving it till now! 

Accessories- I'm throwing on my letter A beanie which I got from H&M grand opening in Sunway Pyramid. I couldn't express my love enough for this beanie as I'm just styling it with a lot of my outfits. I got attracted to the letter A on this beanie the moment I entered H&M on that day because A stands for my name, Amanda! Maroon is also a staple colour that I must have in my closet. My necklace and ring were from forever 21 which were only RM15 and RM10 each during sales. My skull bag was from Far East complex in Singapore. It's my all time favourite bag to go! You'll be seeing it a lot on this blog :)

Outfit #2

This is a more edgy kind of look. I'm blending this look with a colour mixture of white, black and maroon.

Upper wear- I got my black and white long sleeves striped top from H&M. Honestly, I hesitated about it as it was RM49.90 which was consider as 50 bucks but I've no regret getting it! This top is very slim fitting and stretchable. 

Bottom wear- I styled this outfit with a maroon coloured skirt which my aunt presented to me last December as my birthday gift. The quality of this skirt was totally worth the price which was RM79.90 as the colour is still in good condition and the material is thick and comfy. My belt was from H&M that came together with a pair of shorts that I bought! This pair of creepers here were from hotannecold blogshop which were only RM40 and out of my expectation, they were quite comfy to have on. If you're into grunge and rock look, definitely go check out her fashion blogshop. My white ankled socks were from H&M. 

Accessories- The hair band that I'm having on here was from The Pin which is  located at Seoul station, a Korean fashion street in one city mall. Despite of some nice fashion items, the stuffs over there were super expensive indeed except for a few. My hair band was the cheapest item in the whole store which I got for RM15.90 after 10% discount. You can go check out that Korean fashion street as they're having a 10% discount until 31st of December. My 3 headed golden skull ring was from H&M. I'm applying my Chloe nyx lipstick (fuchsia) from Sephora which I got for only RM19.90. The lipstick is really pigmented and can be easily removed. Go grab one quickly if you like it as they always run out of stock. I've waited one week for mine but my friend has waited months for it! 

Outfit #3

Upper wear- Right here, I'm wearing a cross designed blouse from H&M that I got it months ago. The material of this blouse is very flowy and suitable for tropical weathers.

Bottom wear- My beige coloured high waisted shorts was from H&M. I bought it for only 30 bucks through a buy one get one free deal that I shared with my friend. I think the reason why I purchased this shorts was because I was highly inspired by imjennim and this shorts really reminded me of the 90s. Once again, my creepers were from hotannecold blogshop. 

Accessories- This necklace that I'm wearing here was a really precious gift from my brother. My chained ring and demon ring were from H&M. I'm not sure if that's even a demon design but whatever haha And yep, my whole outfit was literally from H&M as I've mentioned before that it is my all time favourite shop. I got this bowler hat that I've long waited from simplixchic blogshop.

Announcement

As of this year's holiday, I will be going to Shanghai this month YAY! No worries, it's just a one week trip, I won't be gone for long. Be sure to stay tune for my Shanghai trip post together with some ootd pictures in it!

Sweet 16th surprise party

What I thought an ordinary picnic session just turned out to be a really really really sweet 16th surprise party given to me and my overly attached friend, Vivian (just kidding!) by my lovely friends! I was completely clueless about it and I couldn't even see it coming while we were on our way to Kota Kemuning together. This is my very first time receiving a birthday surprise party in my entire life and words just couldn't describe how touched and gladful I was of this. Thank god that the weather was kind to us too ! 

Just so you're wondering, my birthday is actually on the 15th of December and Vivian's birthday is on the 1st of December. Well, we've been close friends ever since form 1 and since then we have made a deal that we would celebrate our birthday together on the 7th or 8th of December every year which is a day in between our birthday. I'm so happy to know that we've made it byfar without fail. Cheers to more years of our friendship. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy birthday. Thank you for being such a good listener and tolerating all my nonsense for this past few years. I know that my randomness and nonsense can be too much for like most of the times ? Haha! you're definitely the only one that can bear with it! I love you vivi :3 and not to forget, sorry for getting on your nerves so frequently but it's just so hard not to :)

Dined in at 'Brew and Bread' for lunch. Had a delicious meal and some small talks in a wonderfully decorated ambiance over there. You can go try it out at No. 10,  Jalan Anggerik Aranda M 31/M (Kota Kemuning), Shah Alam, Selangor 40600

A Polaroid picture with a beautiful background. See! I wasn't bluffing you guys when I said wonderfully decorated ambiance! We were so stubborned to pose in front of the counter despite having so many people eyeing on us!  

We decided to spend more quality time together and so we ended up at my house which was the last stop too. It's been a long time indeed since I ever played monopoly. I could barely even remember the rules. And of course we had to munch some snacks during the games ! Guess what? I, who was actually the poorest in the beginning of this game actually turned out to be the victor of this game with a total cash amount of $41,380 by collecting 3 houses rent at Ampang muahahahaha! Miraclely, one of my friend managed to survive the game by just owning two properties with a total cash amount of more than $10,000 in the end of the day! I was like how's that even possible ?

Birthday gifts :) And yep, those are bobby pins. I had to use them to prevent it from flipping upwards. 

Balloons that managed to survive the day! Many of the balloons just burst in our face suddenly and that just scared the hell out of us!

Although it was a simple surprise party, I enjoyed myself so much on that day with you bunch of lovey dovey friends :) Once again, thank you so much! Love you guys xoxo

H&M Grand Opening at Sunway Pyramid

Just so you guys know, H&M is my top favourite shop ever since its first opening at Lot 10 last year. You can definitely find many fashionable items in H&M at a affordable price range. I've never came across a friend who finds H&M goodies pricey before. Another thing about H&M that I love is its clothing size! Since I'm a very petite girl, frankly, it's quite difficult for me to find a nice dress but for the dresses in H&M, as the size gets smaller, it gets shorter too! As of H&M grand opening in Sunway Pyramid, they're offering a RM200 voucher giveaway to the first one in line and RM50 to the next 99 people queueing up.

Well, my friend and I arrived approximately at 10 a.m. in the morning. Our original plan was to reach there at 9 a.m. just so we could stand a chance to get a voucher if we make it to the top 100. As you can see, we were late about an hour and by the time we get there, there were already literally 200 people queueing up. Through what I heard from a friend of a friend of mine, the first one in line who was a guy actually stayed overnight just to get the RM200 voucher! Some of them even arrived at 6 o'clock in the morning despite living quite far away from Sunway Pyramid which was totally insane. I can barely imagine what time did they get up just to get ready for this!

When we made our way back to H&M around 10.40 a.m., it was already opened and so we assumed that it was opened to public at 10.30 a.m. ? We were literally the 400th plus customer to visit this brand new store!

It was so packed with people and they ran out of shopping bag shortly so I ended up holding a stack of messy clothes walking around and running into some people which was truly embarrassed! I'm so sorry! Although we did not get the voucher, there were many great buy one get one free deals available! The fitting room queue was indescribably super duper long until the corner of the kids section if you know. We were so overwhelmingly glad with our haul from H&M and at the same time disappointed that we did not manage to get the voucher which could save us RM50 each! urgh!
